Our Story
Who are we? - Loved & Found is the creation of Jules Miller who also works alongside her daughter on their homeware business ModeAbode (www.modeabode.uk). Jules created earrings using vintage finds at local antique shops and flea markets which has always been a favourite pastime, bringing much-needed respite from all things digital.
Tiny Treasures - Loved & Found earrings are tiny treasures designed and made using beautiful preloved & found vintage glass beads, healing stones (such as amethyst and rose quartz) and beautiful light-catching crystals.
We’re A One-Off - A rare find, every pair of earrings handmade by Jules’ in her seaside studio is different from any other.
Beauty In The Imperfection - Any tiny imperfections here and there on the stones and beads are (we believe), part of the charm of vintage. Earrings are made using beads and stones that have been loved before. Some are old, some areveryold, which often makes us wonder; what stories and secrets so they hold from those who have worn them over the years? What outfits were they worn with? what celebrations could have they been worn to? Whatever the story, we believe that wearing vintage jewellery means that there’s a bit of history in every piece.
The Magic Bit - When used in the designs, the magical healing properties connected to each gemstone can be found in the product description.
Named & Numbered - Each pair of Loved & Found earrings is individually named and numbered - much like limited edition art prints.
Just So You Know - Earrings are individually priced depending on the design, but whichever design you choose each pair of Loved & Found earrings will have been carefully hand-crafted and finished with 18k gold-plated loops, so no itchy scratchy earlobes here. Hurrah!
